Overview
Holy Cow sells direct from its own Shopify store, with Klaviyo for email and SMS. The account was live and sending, and it was earning less than half of what the list should have produced. Connect Social rebuilt the flows, redesigned the campaigns and planned launches around the catalog. Over the next five months, the same list brought in twice the money.
Starting point
Klaviyo had a welcome flow, cart reminders and plain-text promos going out two to three times a week. Campaign click rate was 0.475% against a peer median of 0.901%. Unsubscribe rate was 0.516% against 0.278%. Flow emails earned $0.39 per recipient against $0.80 for comparable brands. The product and the list were fine. The program underneath them wasn't.
Same list, twice the revenue. Flows did most of the lifting.
Holy Cow · KlaviyoWhat we built
The welcome series was re-split so new subscribers got a sequence instead of one email. Browse, site and cart abandonment flows were added where only a cart reminder had existed. Plain-text promos became designed, product-led campaigns, and launches were planned around the catalog instead of sent when someone remembered. Rebuild went live March 21, 2026. From there it was a standing calendar: product launches, education and offers, with every send measured against the one before it.
