Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to share with us directly, such as your name, email address, and company name. We also collect limited information automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, and how you move through the site. This helps us understand how people use the site so we can improve performance, fix issues, and make the experience more useful.
When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect the information you provide in the form, which may include your name, email address, company name, and role. We use this information to personalize the content we send you, tailor recommendations to your interests, and keep you updated on new stories and resources.
When you contact our team, we collect the information you share in your message, including any details you choose to include about your project, question, or request. We use this information to respond thoughtfully, route your inquiry to the right person, and follow up if we need more context to help.
We may also collect information from cookies and similar technologies that help us understand how you interact with the site. This can include information about the pages you visit, the links you click, and the devices you use to access the site. We use this information to improve navigation, optimize content, and make the experience feel more relevant.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to send you the content you requested, respond to questions, and keep you updated on new stories and resources. We may also use it to improve the site, personalize your experience, and protect against abuse or unauthorized access.
We use your email address to send you the newsletter, updates, and other communications you have asked to receive. We may also use your information to invite you to events, share relevant research, or let you know about new tools and resources that align with your interests.
We analyze usage patterns to understand which parts of the site are most useful, identify areas where people get stuck, and make informed decisions about how to improve the experience. This helps us prioritize updates, refine the content we publish, and create a more helpful and intuitive experience for everyone.
We may also use your information to enforce our terms, prevent misuse, and protect the security of the site. This includes monitoring for suspicious activity, responding to security incidents, and taking steps to prevent unauthorized access to your information.
Sharing Information
We share information with providers that help us host this site, deliver inquiries, and measure site use. Optional visitor identification through RB2B is described below. Where identification is enabled under the regional choices described below, RB2B may use information for its own data matching and service improvement; this may qualify as a sale or sharing under some privacy laws. You can decline or withdraw that permission through Privacy choices.
Our providers process information under their applicable agreements and privacy policies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity support analytics, and RB2B supports optional visitor identification. See the sections below for the information these tools process and the choices available to you.
We may also share information with third parties when required by law, when we believe it is necessary to protect the site or our users, or when we are responding to a request from a regulatory authority. In each case, we share only the information that is necessary to fulfill the request and take steps to protect your privacy.
If we were to sell or transfer all or substantially all of our assets, we may share your information as part of that transaction. In that event, we would take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is handled in accordance with this policy and applicable privacy laws.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every message. You can also ask us to update, correct, or delete your information by contacting us directly. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible and in accordance with applicable laws.
You can choose not to receive marketing emails from us at any time. Each message includes an unsubscribe link that lets you stop future emails with a single click. You can also contact us directly to ask us to stop sending you promotional communications.
You can ask us to update or correct your information if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You can also ask us to delete your information, although we may need to retain some information for legal, security, or business purposes. We will explain any limitations when you make your request.
You can also choose to limit the use of cookies and similar technologies on your device. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, clear cookies when you close your browser, or opt out of interest-based advertising. Keep in mind that some features may not work as smoothly if you limit these technologies.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. While we work hard to keep your information secure, no website is completely secure, so we encourage you to be cautious when sharing sensitive details online.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect the information we collect. This includes encryption, access controls, and monitoring to help detect and respond to security incidents. We also require our service providers to implement robust security practices when handling your information.
If we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we will notify you promptly and take steps to mitigate the impact. We will also notify relevant authorities as required by law and provide you with information about what happened and what we are doing to respond.
We recommend that you use a secure connection when accessing the site, keep your browser and operating system up to date, and use strong passwords for your accounts. We also recommend that you be cautious when clicking on links or downloading attachments from unfamiliar senders.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, new technologies, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of the page. If we make significant changes, we may also notify you through the site or by email.
We will post the updated policy on this page and make it available before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically so you understand how we are handling your information and what choices you have.
If we make significant changes to this policy, we may also notify you through a notice on the site or by email. Significant changes might include a new use of your information, a new category of information we collect, or a change in how we share your information with third parties.
Your continued use of the site after we update this policy will be subject to the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you can stop using the site or contact us to ask about your options.
Contact Us
If you have questions about this policy, how we handle your information, or your privacy choices, please contact us at hello@connectsocial.co. We are committed to transparency and want to make sure you understand how your information is used.
We will respond to your request as quickly as possible and in accordance with applicable laws. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, we will also explain how those rights apply and how you can exercise them.
Contact our team at hello@connectsocial.co with questions about data protection, access, correction, or deletion. We will help you understand and exercise your privacy choices.
Contact details saved while you complete an inquiry
When you enter a valid email address or phone number in Reach Out, we save those contact details, your first name if provided, and your selected inquiry type before you press Send inquiry. Phone is optional. Our team receives incomplete-inquiry alerts through our existing Google Workspace email and Slack systems and may follow up even if you do not finish the form.
We send the remaining form answers when you submit the completed inquiry. Incomplete inquiries are not treated as qualified leads or booked calls. Contact details are not sent to Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. To ask us to stop following up or delete your inquiry, email hello@connectsocial.co.
Website analytics and your choice
When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page views, clicks, scrolling, and form progress. We use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings so we can understand how visitors use the site and where navigation or forms cause problems. These tools process usage and device information and use analytics cookies.
We do not send the names, email addresses, phone numbers, websites, revenue answers, or messages entered in our forms as analytics events. Form fields and status messages are masked in Clarity. A successful inquiry is measured only after our receiver confirms acceptance. Inquiry delivery to our team is separate from these analytics tools.
Our hosting provider estimates your country and state from your connection. We use that approximate location to decide whether to ask before enabling analytics. We ask first in selected U.S. states, outside the U.S., or when location is unavailable. In other identified U.S. states, analytics may run unless you opt out. We do not request GPS access or save your location with your choice.
Use Privacy choices in the footer to turn analytics off or change your choice. Declining does not affect the site or inquiry submission. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by keeping analytics off. Acceptances expire after six months. Saved opt-outs do not expire automatically; they remain until you change them or clear your browser storage. Turning analytics off reloads the current page to stop the tracking tools.

Optional visitor identification
For eligible U.S. visits, we use RB2B (GetEmails, LLC) to understand which businesses and professionals visit this website. RB2B uses cookies, connection and device information, pages visited, and referring URLs to match visits with information held by its data partners. Matches may include a company, name, work email, or professional profile. We keep identification off outside the U.S. and whenever we cannot confirm a U.S. state or D.C. through our hosting provider. U.S. visitor matches depend on RB2B’s available data and our plan.
Visitor identification is separate from website analytics and inquiry submission. For new visits with no saved privacy choice, identification may run without an acceptance popup in eligible U.S. locations, unless you opt out. As a precaution, we ask first in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. This is our cautious operating policy, not a statement that each listed state legally requires a popup. An earlier analytics-only acceptance does not authorize RB2B. Analytics only keeps RB2B off, and a saved identification opt-out always takes priority. We do not send inquiry-field values to RB2B.
Identified visits are available to our team in the RB2B dashboard to assess interest in our services. This installation does not send automated emails, Slack alerts, or add visitors to our lead tracker. RB2B may process identification data for its own data matching and service improvement; its data use may qualify as a sale or sharing under some privacy laws.
RB2B’s first-party cookies include _reb2bgeo, _reb2bloaded, _reb2bref, _reb2sessionID, _reb2buid, _reb2bfxf, _reb2btd, _reb2bli, _reb2bresolve, and _reb2butk. They support location matching, attribution, session continuity, and recognition of returning visitors. Their stated lifetimes range from one second to one year. Acceptances expire after six months. We retain saved opt-outs without automatic expiry until you change them or clear your browser storage.
To opt out of identification and related sale or sharing on this site, open Privacy choices or Do not sell or share in the footer and select Analytics only or Turn all off (or Decline when tracking is off). We remove RB2B’s accessible first-party cookies and reload the page to stop its script. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track before loading identification. Identification stays off on pages or referring URLs that may contain private query text. Opting out does not prevent you from using our site or submitting an inquiry.
You can also use RB2B’s identity and marketing opt-out or its international data opt-out. See RB2B’s Privacy Policy for its data practices and requests concerning data already held by RB2B.
